Dear Parents/Carers
As you will be aware from my letter dated Wednesday 2nd July, a number of public service Unions are planning a national day of strike action on Thursday 10th July 2014.
This is an update to the information we supplied last week. The major change is the cancellation of the Year 2 trip.
As a school we are tasked with ensuring the safety of your children and need to risk assess each part of the school day and make a decision on whether we are open, partially open or closed.
After undertaking such an assessment we are not able to guarantee our staffing ratios for the following services and therefore they will not be operational on Thursday 10th July 2014;
Nursery – am and pm
Creche
Breakfast Club
After-School Club
The rest of the school day will run as normal apart from lunch time as we will not be able to provide a hot meal and therefore ask that children bring a packed lunch to school on that day. We will however provide a limited deli service for Free School Meals children.
